We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher for upper primary school with a strong interest in Physical Education to join our team from 1st August.
A successful candidate for the position will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching within the primary years
- Design engaging lessons and learning experiences which support curiosity
- Plan and teach P.E. across Primary School and promote an active, healthy lifestyle
- Assess and monitor student learning providing feedback, which is kind, specific and useful
- Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Work and communicate effectively and proactively with colleagues, students and families
- Contribute to school life including activities and events
- Contribute to shared planning, reflection, and development of practice
- Take responsibility for contributing to a positive and professional working environment
A qualified candidate should:
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed., PGCE or equivalent)
- Have experience in primary school education
- Have experience or a strong interest in Physical Education teaching and helping to organize whole-school and international schools network sporting events
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to inclusive practice and student well-being
- Be reflective, organized, and able to maintain high professional standards
- Thrive working collaboratively with colleagues across roles and functions
