Odense International School Seeking Full Time Primary and Physical Education Specialist from 1st August

We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher for upper primary school with a strong interest in Physical Education to join our team from 1st August.

A successful candidate for the position will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching within the primary years
  • Design engaging lessons and learning experiences which support curiosity
  • Plan and teach P.E. across Primary School and promote an active, healthy lifestyle
  • Assess and monitor student learning providing feedback, which is kind, specific and useful
  • Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Work and communicate effectively and proactively with colleagues, students and families
  • Contribute to school life including activities and events
  • Contribute to shared planning, reflection, and development of practice
  • Take responsibility for contributing to a positive and professional working environment

A qualified candidate should:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed., PGCE or equivalent)
  • Have experience in primary school education
  • Have experience or a strong interest in Physical Education teaching and helping to organize whole-school and international schools network sporting events
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Be committed to inclusive practice and student well-being
  • Be reflective, organized, and able to maintain high professional standards
  • Thrive working collaboratively with colleagues across roles and functions
